Assists operators of not larger than family farms to make efficient use of their land, labor, and other resources, and to establish and maintain financially viable farming and ranching operations. May be used to operate family-owned ranches and agricultural businesses and to purchase livestock, farm equipment, seed, chemicals, etc. as well as to make minor improvements to buildings, costs associated with land and water development and family assistance.
