$600,000 Grant To Small Businesses To Commercialize Military Technology

Funds early-stage research and development projects of small companies that have the potential for commercialization in the private sector or U.S. military markets. The Navy’s Small Business Innovative Research Program is normally provided for six months and up to $70,000 for Phase I projects (for a feasibility study to evaluate the scientific and technical merit of an idea) and two years and up to $600,000 for Phase II awards (demonstration phase in which prototypes are built and tested).
