Financial Incentives for Energy Star Appliances

Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association provides financial incentives for its residential customers to purchase and install Energy Star rated appliances in their homes. Rebates are offered for qualified clothes washers, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, freezers, ground-source heat pumps, and window A/C units. Incentive amounts are clothes washer $25, dehumidifier $25, freezer $25, refrigerator $25, refrigerator/freezer w/ recycling $50, window AC unit $25, and geothermal heat pump: $150 per ton. All equipment must be Energy Star rated and installed within Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association service territory. Rebates are issued as credit on utility bills.
