Incentives to $350 for Energy Efficient Appliances

Anoka Municipal Utilities offers incentives for their residential customers to install energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs in their homes. Rebates are available for Energy Star qualified central A/C units, room air conditioners, compact fluorescent lightbulbs, refrigerators, and dishwashers. Some restrictions apply. Incentive amounts are: refrigerator $55; dishwasher $50; central A/C: $250 – $350, varies by efficiency; room air conditioner $30/unit (limit of 2 units per account); lighting – the cost of the bulb or $5.00, whichever is less (limit of $15 per account per year).
