Deciding to have a child or children is an important step in anyone’s life. Choosing a method of birth control is another big decision. The Food and Drug Administration has several free publications dealing with specific types of birth control methods, along with a general overview of the different types of contraceptive methods. A good general overview publication is titled, Protecting Against Unintended Pregnancy: A Guide to Contraceptive Choices.
