Orange County offers a $200 rebate on newly installed solar hot water systems in the county. To be eligible for the rebate, the system owner must complete an application and provide proof of an energy audit, installation date and receipt of a solar hot water rebate from the utility. Only new systems, installed on or after April 22, 2008, are eligible and the rebate application must be received within six months of installation.
