$22,500 Incentive Available in Solar-Electric Program

The Minnesota Office of Energy Security (OES) administers a solar-electric (PV) rebate program to buy down the up-front costs of grid-connected solar-electric (PV) systems. The incentive is $2.25 per watt for installations with a cap of 10 kW or $22,500. However, larger systems are eligible on a case-by-case basis. Please note: The Minnesota Solar-Electric Rebate Program is fully reserved. The Minnesota Office of Energy Security (OES) will continue to accept applications to be placed on a waiting list pending additional funding and will notify applicants if additional funding becomes available. Funding is still available for the Minnesota Solar Hot Water Rebate Program.
