Incentives for Power Saving Measures in Your Home

With help from Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency, Princeton PUC provides incentives for its residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. Rebates are available for qualified dishwashers, clothes washers, air conditioners (central and room), ceiling fans, light fixtures, air and ground source heat pumps, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, and freezers. Appliances must be Energy Star to qualify for the rebate, and bonus incentives are available in some cases if the old working appliance is properly recycled. Incentives from $2 up to $200 for central A/Cs plus $75 for each additional SEER over 14.
