Rebates for Energy Efficient Technologies

Xcel Energy offers rebates and other incentives for its Minnesota residential customers for energy efficient heating and cooling systems. Eligible technologies are water heaters, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and air conditioners. Incentive amounts range from $30 for central A/C to $330 for air source heat pumps. Residential customers may also qualify for Home Performance Rebate program. In order to be eligible customers must install a minimum of five Energy Star appliances in their home. Xcel Energy also offers the residential Saver’s Switch program. Residents receive a bill credit during the summer months in exchange for agreeing to have their air conditioning systems cycled on and off during peak energy demand periods.
