Help if You Want to Work While Disabled

The Social Security Administration publication No. 5-10095 is available at www.dinf.org/ssa/pubs/10095.htm. This publication explains how the SSA can help you return to work. This booklet provides information to help you treat your disability as a bridge, not the end of the road. It also explains SSI’s work incentives which include cash benefits; Medicare or Medicaid while you work; help with any extra work expenses you may have as a result of your disability and help with education, training and rehabilitation to start a new line of work. Eligibility requirements are also provided.
